Job Description:

As a WordPress Developer Intern at Career Consultants Inc., you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on various projects, developing your skills in WordPress development. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in web development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive and visually appealing websites using WordPress

• Create custom themes and plugins to meet client requirements

• Develop and implement e-commerce solutions using WordPress plugins

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute project timelines

• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin creation

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Knowledge of PHP and MySQL

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and plugins

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WordPress page builders, such as Elementor or Beaver Builder

• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git

• Proficiency in a front-end framework, such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
