Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant (Intern) to join our finance team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or students currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field to gain practical, hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records
Support the monthly preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Aid in reconciling accounts, including bank statements and general ledger balances
Enter and manage financial data in accounting systems and software
Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, and payment tracking
Organise and maintain accounting files and financial documentation
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Participate in training sessions on accounting systems, software, and procedures
Stay informed about current accounting principles, industry standards, and financial regulations
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
