Responsibilities

• Extract data from online sources using web scraping techniques and tools such as BeautifulSoup and Scrapy

• Process and clean the extracted data to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Develop and maintain our data scraping infrastructure to ensure efficient and reliable data extraction

• Collaborate with our data analysis team to identify data gaps and implement solutions to address them

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web scraping tools and techniques to improve our data scraping processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a strong focus on programming and data analysis

• Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with web scraping libraries such as BeautifulSoup and Scrapy

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly

• Good communication and teamwork skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
