We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Counselling Internee to join our team at ABN Overseas Education in Lahore. As a Counselling Internee, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students navigating various academic and personal challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of counselling and contribute to the growth and success of our students.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students on academic, personal, and career-related issues

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the needs and concerns of our students

• Collaborate with academic staff to support students in achieving their academic goals

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions

• Participate in training and professional development to enhance your counselling skills and knowledge

• Work closely with the counselling team to ensure smooth delivery of services

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds

• Strong listening and empathy skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Knowledge of academic and personal challenges faced by students, with a strong understanding of counselling principles and practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student support and success

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
